Happy New Year Chinese style....

Happy Chinese New Year....I told you all I would be posting again soon. I hope you all had a chance to look at the Buckingham Palace pictures. I was thinking maybe I should post one day without pictures....but then I think what would I post about. I could tell you all about my fascinating management accounting class...I know you would all be thrilled to learn about absorption costing....no oh well...I guess I'll stick to picture posting. well Melissa and I decided to join in the Chinese New Year Festivities that started off the China in London Month that is happening here. Hopefully maybe we'll get to go see some of the other stuff happening but who knows. It was super crowded in China town and surrounding areas for the festivities so there may be elbows and heads in some of the pictures (most of which Melissa had to take because she is taller) anyway it was fun so I hope you enjoy them...

I liked their orange suits.....to be honest with you I don't think I actually saw this during the parade..because I was too short to see over someone who stepped in my way...good thing I have tall friends I guess.
This girl laughed the whole time she was banging those cymbals together her and that other girl were sharing some crazy jokes.....she reminds me of my friend Kara actually...

These dragons were just wondering separate from the parade but they stopped at this restaurant that appeared to have cabbage or lettuce hanging down in the door way....it danced around it and then ripped it down....I don't know the significance but I'm willing to give 30 points to anyone who does......lol
