Imperial war museum

Hello all people....heres another update on life in London. Melissa and I on learning that the changing of the guards only happens on odd days in February decided once again to put off Buckingham Palace and go to the Imperial war mueum that is actually a few blocks away from where we live. all such nonsense happened while there and we didn't even see half of it.
Melissa tries to climb a wall outside the museum see that little sign on the wall the next picture will show you why this is so funny.
what exactly is anti-climb paint? if someone could tell me that would be great...what is it made of I wonder? lol and what pipes???? I see no pipes lol...
um would you try to rob a place guarded by samuri I think not....Heather are you a part of this organizaton???
Melissa wanted to get samurai guards of our own.
Hey this suit is called Davis!!! Yeah Allison!!!
oh yeah heres the actual suit...the real question is can you spot Melissa?
unfortunatly I should have taken the flash off for this picture but seeing as we were in a gift shop and I doubt we were supposed to take the picture anyway..if you can't read it it says "Gee I wish I were a man so I could Join the Navy." then on the bottom it says "Be a man join the United States Navy."
This one was just to much for us...
Melissa following the Yellow brick road
Me as well....however when I got to the end I thought it would be cool to look through the little hole and as I did a kid popped out and scared the daylights out of me. He had slid from the other side.
Melissa talking into a submarine thing.
me listening to what Melissa is saying.

this thing showed you what things sounded like underwater...like missiles, ships, and whales...though I already knew the whale thing from Star Trek IV lol.
Melissa facing off a canon
a very large..um missile? I can't remember what this was...
Melissa poking a tank in the eye
Melissa listening to more submarine stuff. This time though it was a tape playing of somebody talking...
Melissa trying not to sink a submarine...which I didn't know was possible...
Hey we found them...haha...okay not quite but close enough....you say weapons of mass destruction I say weapons of mass communication lol
Daniel Radcliffe...apparently the boy does a lot of acting....we didn't actually get to see the movie because it's aired on TV and we don't have one (and we weren't willing to pay for it) but it seemed interesting. he plays Rudyard Kipling's son who goes to war....They had a whole lot of Rudyard Kipling stuff on display.
here his chair..hehehe
and his costume that he wore for the movie
and boots that he wore that have his name in them...

Melissa holding up a cannon..
me hitting my head on a cannon.
It was actually very large cannon.

Melissa hugging a missile....all it needs is love...these next four pictures are from the peace garden...there was this monument we tried to take a picture of one part of the stuff that was written on it in each language...we don't really know if we were successful.
um...I don't know what language this is to be honest...
CHINESE!!!!!!
um...Elvish???? lol
um I think I have a better picture of that at the bottom maybe...yeah I do
this was pretty cool

The Berlin wall...well at least a piece of it.
Crazy Melissa.
Melissa wanted me to write....can you spot the Melissa???? she's nuts...
yeah heres the plaque again...

well that was our time at the imperial war museum....hope you all enjoyed the pictures...I feel like maybe I should post more on this thing but...I never really have much to say. Other than the weekends when we do a bit of exploring I pretty much just go to school and do schoolwork so there is not much to say. well until next post...CHEERS!!!!
