Old London....

Hello again...Okay I managed to get a little posting done...Melissa and I went on a walking tour our last day in London that showed the old city of London...I will try to remeber some of the stuff but I really can't remember some of it because it was sooo long ago but I will try...
Melissa at a Sundial where we met the tour.
The tower of London...I believe this is where King Henry...something or other beheaded his wife....It was generally used as a prison, but now is only a prison to ravens who have had there wings clipped because way back in the day some fortune teller told the king that if the ravens ever left the castle would fall and the monarchy would be driven out....
a ship!
Tower Bridge..Impressive
London Bridge....not impressive....did you know that this is like the 5th London Bridge all the rest got burnt down except that one before this one which was sold to none other than an American....lol...figures.
This is where the great fire that burnt down London started...there is a monument here but it is underneath a huge pile of steel for renovations.
Me in front of the bank of England it has tunnels underneath it like Gringotts...(that's what Gringotts was based on) It was never robbed but it was broken into they were sent a letter by this guy who was like I know how to break into your vaults and so he told them to go in the vaults at a specific time and that he would meet them there...apparently it was a sewer worker who had figured it out and instead of grabbing a couple thousands pounds of goods and running he told them and got like 800 pounds...funny...he's so honest...lol
heres where the mayor (I think he's called the mayor) of the City of London Lives...there is actually a difference this area is considered the city of London where as the place where Melissa and I live and go to school and where Buckingham Palace is is actually the city of Westminster...and technically the Royal family has to get permission from this guy in order to enter the city of London.
Haha our tour guide tried to jump in the picture he was pretty funny!
ummm...a church....it's....ummmm....Saint Peters...it's very pretty..
Outside the Tate Modern...they are doing like street art exhibits.
here are all the paintings on the outside of the Tate.
Heres a place that is neither the City of London or the City of Westminster because it was once a place where the Knights Templar worked and the pope said that wherever they settled they wouldn't be a part of any place that way they don't have to pay taxes and so then after they left some Lawyers were like hey can we have this place to practice Law and the Monarch was like yeah okay I guess and then they tried to collect taxes and they were like nope we don't have to pay taxes because it's not part of your city...and the Monarch was like awe man...we need a lawyer....except they were trying to go against the lawyers and it didn't work...the moral of the story is the lawyer is like a Ace in War....you can't beat an Ace.
The guards og the City of London....this is the farthest the Queen can go without asking for permission. And then we returned to our place of residence in the City of Westminster...

I have so much more to post....I don't think I will ever catch up lol..
